Tree removal isn’t complete without Ed’s Tree Service quality stump grinding in Maryland
Removing the above-ground portion of a tree is only half the job of a full tree removal. You may no longer have the risk of your tree falling and damaging your property, but the remaining stump still poses risks of its own and can be an eyesore.
Ed’s Tree Service stump grinding service in Maryland removes stumps with minimum disruption to the surrounding yard. We are committed to leaving your yard hazard-free and more beautiful than it was before.
Efficient and effective stump removal requires several steps to properly remove a tree stump. It requires the skills of Maryland tree experts and heavy duty machines and equipment, making it extremely difficult and highly dangerous to do yourself. Once the stump has been removed, it’s our environmentally friendly practice to let the resulting mulch replenish your soil. If you prefer a different method, we can haul the mulch and replace it with topsoil and seed for an additional charge.
Ed’s Tree Service MD Stump Grinding Services
Our team provides tree stump grinding in Maryland for any and every tree situation. Stump removal machines are the key to efficiently grind stumps into mulch. Our licensed tree experts assess the size of the tree stump(s) and select the best machines for each stump grind and removal.
For small stumps, smaller stump machines are self-propelled and do not need to be moved into place by a truck. The machines are designed to fit through 36-inch-wide openings and will grind smaller stumps down 2-6 inches below the surface.
For larger stumps, the machine arrives at your property trailered by a pickup truck. Our driver will carefully back the truck and stump removal machine across your yard to reach the large tree stump. We will grind the stump down 12 inches below the surface to effectively destroy the root ball.
We Take Pride in Our Attention to Detail
We don’t just remove the stump, our stump removal process includes grinding of the stump itself plus an additional foot of surrounding ground. We do this in order to reach larger underlying roots and will grind larger areas to remove unsightly or annoying surface roots if needed.
After the stump has been ground, we use the resulting mulch to back-fill the hole. By doing this, the mulch will settle and nourish your soil. If you prefer topsoil and seed, we can remove the mulch and fill it with the topsoil and seed for an additional charge.
When the professionals at Ed’s Tree Service remove a stump, you can trust that we will be thorough, respect your property, and provide superior service from start to finish.
